About the Founder:
WhatAreKidsSaying.com was founded by University of Michigan graduate and
former NFL linebacker, ian gold.
"In 2006, after returning from a journey around the world, I asked myself a question, 'During my travels, what was the most consistent thing that I noticed?' I thought in depth for a moment, and then my thoughts went to the children. Being reminded of photographs and video footage that I had taken of kids and teenagers in Fiji, Egypt, Australia, in which it seemed as if the children, with their arms and hands waving in the air, and bright smiles on their faces, were glowing with innocence, I realized that the most consistent thing that I noticed during my travels around the world, was the innocent and profound nature that children possess..."
In 2008, Gold walked away from the NFL, and founded WhatAreKidsSaying.com. Although there are many purposes for his creating the website, there are none greater than the purpose of educating a generation of young people.
In an effort to inspire young people to share what lies in their hearts and minds, Ian has created a blog. Through his own words, Gold is sharing glimpses of his heart and mind with young people around the world. A link to "ian's blog" is located on both, members and subscribers, homepages.
